Quality photography can't be produced on a "conveyor belt", that's why I've always chosen to limit the number of wedding commissions that I accept each year. This keeps our approach fresh, energetic & fully committed to each couple & occasion. As a "wedding photographer" I'm a bit unusual, most of my work takes place in the weird world of advertising photography.** I like to think this gives me a slightly different perspective & approach to wedding photography. My Qualifications & Affiliations: Fellowship, the highest level within the BIPP Association of Photographers (AoP) & Qualified European Photographer (FEP)* I've served on the BIPP National Admissions & Qualifications Panel, have given dozens of demonstrations & presentations around the UK and have judged many Regional & National Print Awards. Commercial photography awards include: "BIPP NW Photographer of the Year" & "BIPP National Industrial Photographer" But... TBH, it's dead easy picking up awards, there's always some outfit ready to give 'em out so, I mostly prefer to judge my work on what I do for my clients in the "real world". Naturally, cost is always important but; after the flowers have drooped, the wedding cake is eaten & the groom's suit no longer fits, try & remember... you, your children & your grandchildren will still be looking at the photographs.
